The Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Washington will host its annual sale event, the All Things Japanese Sale, on Aug. 22. The organizations are asking for more donations to sell so that the event will be bigger and better than in previous years.
“You can support the JCCCW by donating your gently or slightly used Japanese items,” according to the center. “We’re looking for a wide variety of items including artwork, jewelry, pottery, dishware, clothing, accessories and other collectibles.”
Donations can be dropped off at the JCCCW’s main building along South Main Street or or via the back of the building through the alleyway off of 16th Avenue.
Donations will be accepted between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays until Aug. 19.
The event will benefit the JCCCW and the organization’s programs. More information can be found at (206) 568-7114 or www.jcccw.org.
